How does it work?
In simple terms, buying a Pay As You Go Website is not much different to buying a ‘Pay As You Go’ or ‘Bill Pay’ mobile phone.
We ask you to pay only a sign-up fee to cover upfront expenses involved in setting up your site with the expectation that your monthly subscription will cover the balance, spreading your payments over a period of 2 years.
This will allow you to acquire a Profession Grade website at a budgetable cost from the outset.
Are there any setup fees?
Yes.
We charge an initial, non-refundable setup fee to cover costs directly incurred in the building of your website.

Am I tied to any contract?
No. You are not tied to a contract but there are a few terms and conditions.
You fully own the URL for your site, however the designs and intellectual property remain the property of KildareWeb.ie until such time as the quoted cost has been redeemed in full. You must subscribe to our ‘Pay As You Go’ plan for two years (or other agreed time period) before we can release ownership and control over to you, unless you agree to pay any outstanding balance on the account.
Setting up a website and hosting can be expensive. PAYG Websites shoulder this expense on the understanding that it will be repaid over 2 years. After that time you are free to take leave of our services. We are 100% confident that it won’t come to this.
In an event that you do decide to leave us after 2 years, we will provide you with a backup of your website and transfer the domain to your account.
What if my business doesn’t work out?
It is a sad fact that a lot of businesses are struggling at this time.
In the unfortunate event that your business doesn’t work out for you you may cancel your subscription without penalty.
Before you do that thought, please contact us and see how we can help. We don’t just build websites, we help businesses owners build businesses.
Who owns the Domain and Website?
You are the owner of the domain (URL) from day one. . We will register and manage your domain under your name, however we will manage it through our account until the end of the PAYG subscription period. Should you choose to cancel your subscription we can arrange transfer of the URL to your control.
You own all the rights to graphics, textual and other content supplied by you in the development of your website.
All other intellectual properties remain the property of KildareWeb until such time as the agreed cost has been redeemed in full.
At the end of the 2 year subscription plan (or other agreed time period) we can revert total control of you domain over to you if you choose.
What happens if I miss my payments?
Subscriptions are automatic and if a payment is missed our system will represent for payment. If, after a few days, your payment has still failed to come through we will take your website offline but we won’t delete the site. We will retain your site for a grace period of 3 months.
Once your subscription is renewed, your website will be automatically re-activated.
After 3 months, if we haven’t heard from you, we will delete the website.
If you are genuinely experiencing difficulty in making payments please contact us and see if we can help. Perhaps we could downgrade your Pay As You Go Plan or extend the subscription period in order to lower your monthly obligations until you get back on your feet.
What happens after 2 years?
After 2 years you will have paid for your Pay As You Go Website in full and so are free to stay with us and only subscribe to continued hosting and management of your website, or host your website with another provider if you choose (we’re confident you won’t want to).
If you choose to stay with us we will continue to provide our Managed WordPress Hosting service and the following rates will apply.
Essentials: Reduces to €30pm *
Premium: Reduces to €40pm *
Enterprise: Reduces to €55pm *

Our Managed WordPress Hosting Plan covers monthly software updates and backups.
You will continue to receive our full support and updates.
If you choose to transfer to another provider we will provide you with a full site backup and transfer your domain control to your new account.
If there are any premium features installed on your site we will have to deactivate the license, so if you wish to continue receiving software updates for these products you will need to purchase a license in your own right. We will provide you a full list of premium features and a link to where you may purchase the licenses.
